The Pie Factory, MediaCityUK
Peel Media Limited
2010
Early in 2007 a new facility opened within the MediaCity complex in Salford Quays called The Pie Factory. This was a studio complex that was originally a pie factory; no really. It had three ‘studios’ (or sound stages) and made a number of well-known TV productions including The Visit, Cold Blood, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Boy A, Hebburn, Car Share, Give Out Girls, Ragged and episodes of The Royle Family
In 2010 we are appointed by Peel Media Limited to explore how the building could be re-purposed to provide a range of office, co-work and studio facilities that would expand the range of facilities to appeal to a broader film, TV and media occupier.
The Pie Factory was demolished in 2018 to make way for another phase of MediaCityUK.
